Steam Guard and Deadlock Boosts

When a booster signs in from a new device or location, Steam may require approval from the account owner. That can mean a mobile confirmation, an email code, or another Steam Guard prompt.

The safest plan is to stay reachable in order chat after checkout. If Steam asks for approval, the booster can message you immediately instead of waiting around.

After payment, solo buyers submit Steam credentials on the order confirmation page. The credentials are encrypted at rest and only the assigned booster can reveal them server-side.

Credentials are not posted to Discord and are not exposed to public browser requests. They are also cleared after the retention window or when the order is fully refunded or closed.

When the booster is ready to sign in, they press Request Steam Guard on the order page. That posts an automatic message in your order chat and flips your order card to a visible Steam Guard alert, so you are never guessing whether a login prompt is theirs.

Open the Steam Mobile app, approve the sign-in, or send the one-time code back through order chat. Codes expire quickly, so if you miss the window, say so in chat and the booster simply requests again. Nothing about the order breaks if the first attempt times out.

Before the boost starts, make sure you can access your Steam email, Steam mobile app, and order chat. If you use family sharing, VPN restrictions, or unusual account locks, tell the booster before they attempt login.

Do not approve random login attempts outside the order window. Wait for the assigned booster to confirm they are starting.

When the order is marked complete, change your Steam password, then open Steam's Authorized Devices list and remove anything you do not recognize. That closes the booster's session even if they never signed out.

If anything about the login history looks off, raise it in order chat before you leave a review. The order stays open for questions after completion, and a dispute can still be filed from the order page.
